Located on a spacious garden plot in the charming Cascais district, just minutes from the beach, the Canopy Residence perfectly balances modern aesthetics with functional living. The 450-square-metre home spans two stories and is meticulously crafted to maximise natural light, highlight views of the surrounding landscape, and optimise spatial efficiency for a seamless flow between living areas.

Integrating Architecture with Nature

A defining feature of the Canopy Residence is its seamless indoor-outdoor integration. The south-facing façade opens to a lush garden and a linear pool that extends into the property, creating a peaceful outdoor oasis. The Canopy: A Sculptural Element Managing Light & Temperature

One of the standout features of the house is its sculptural coloured concrete canopy. Positioned to capture the afternoon sun, the canopy maximises daylight while shielding the triple-height atrium from harsh midday rays. This thoughtful solar control helps maintain a comfortable indoor climate, reducing the need for artificial cooling and contributing to the home’s energy efficiency.
